Caleb Morris
 Instructor - Choreographer

Caleb Morris is an Instructor and Choreographer at Modern Edge Dance Company. Caleb has been dancing since the age of six and spent over a decade as a competitive dancer, developing a strong technical foundation and a lifelong passion for the performing arts. Currently entering his final year at Ohio University, he is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering alongside a minor in Dance, where he has trained extensively in modern, ballet, tap, West African, dance composition, and performance.

During his time at Ohio University, Caleb has performed in three university dance concerts, attended the American College Dance Association (ACDA) conference, and participated in numerous additional performances and creative projects. His studies have also included coursework in athletic training focused on performing artists, with an emphasis on dancer health, musculoskeletal injury prevention, and safe movement practices. He was also a proud member of Ohio University's nationally recognized Marching 110 drumline, an experience that further strengthened his musicality, performance quality, and appreciation for teamwork.

Alongside his studies, Caleb continues to balance his passion for dance with a career in engineering, completing a co-op with Burns & McDonnell while preparing to begin full-time with the firm after graduation. He believes the creativity, discipline, and problem-solving skills developed through engineering complement the artistry, dedication, and collaboration that define dance.

As an instructor, Caleb is passionate about creating a positive, encouraging environment where dancers feel challenged, supported, and inspired to grow. He believes great dance education extends beyond technique, helping students develop confidence, artistry, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for movement. Caleb is excited to share his experience and enthusiasm with the dancers of Modern Edge Dance Company and looks forward to an incredible season.
